Our 28 rooms, the restaurant with its winter garden, the rustic beer garden by the historic city wall and a conference or function room offer you everything you could wish for a relaxing stay. You can expect family hospitality and a friendly atmosphere.

Our kitchen, where the chef himself cooks, is particularly well known for its game specialities. We source our game meat from our own hunting grounds in the Rhenser forests, where Horst (and occasionally Werner) go hunting. For this reason, we are also a member of the ‘Heimat schmeckt!’ e.V. association. This association brings together food producers and food processing companies that market products from the region. Wherever possible, we use regional products in our hotel and restaurant. For example, we source fruit juices, seasonal vegetables and fruit, eggs, beer, wine and fruit brandies from Rhens and the surrounding area.

Our restaurant can seat up to 100 people. We welcome not only individual guests but also group tours. Since 2010, our restaurant has been expanded to include a beautiful air-conditioned wooden conservatory and a rustic beer garden in the courtyard.

Bus companies, conferences, company parties and family celebrations will find a beautiful setting here, ensuring that your celebration or stay is as atmospheric and extraordinary as you wish.
