The origins of Försters Weinterrassen lie in the Försterhof winery. It was founded in 1979 by Magda and ‘Jupp’ Förster as a family-run winery with an adjoining estate bar and is still run in this form today by the Klaus and Bernd Förster families.

The ‘Försterhof’ was rebuilt and remodelled in 1999/2000 from an organic point of view. The organic forms represent a soft transition to the cultivated landscape.
We were inspired and influenced by the Spanish architect Antonio Gaudi and the Austrian architect and artist Hundertwasser according to the motto ‘Nature knows no right angles’.
This was then successfully realised together with a local architect.

The organic forms are intended to achieve a soft transition to the surrounding cultivated landscape. Extensive greening of the courtyard, façade, terrace and roof is intended to minimise the impact on nature.

You will find Förster's wine terraces amidst picturesque vineyards in the Ahr Valley, Germany's red wine paradise. Situated directly on the red wine hiking trail, we are also easy to reach on foot and by car. A must for nature lovers with a view.

The child- and family-friendly atmosphere with the playground close by is hard to beat. Enjoy our varied and delicious cuisine in this dreamlike ambience.

Our fresh, seasonal dishes made from many regional products will win you over, as will our home-baked cakes based on Grandma Förster's recipes.

Wines from our own production accompany the culinary offer. The Ahr wine is legendary. Our winery produces hand-picked, high-quality red and white wines.
