BURGHOTEL AUF SCHÖNBURG

Schönburg Castle is one of the oldest castles in the UNESCO World Heritage Site “Upper Middle Rhine Valley”. It towers majestically over Oberwesel, the town of towers and wine, 3 km south of the legendary Loreley rock. Its 1000-year history makes the castle a very special place.

Millennia of history and modern comfort meet here, as do groups of all kinds. Whether family or senior citizens' meetings, conferences, seminars or choir and orchestra rehearsals, school trips or adventure weekends: we are prepared for everything and look forward to welcoming you and your group here.

The rooms

Our castle hotel offers 31 comfortable non-smoking rooms and suites. Each room is individually and lovingly furnished. Our rooms with balcony or terrace overlooking the Rhine offer special moments.

Our hotel rooms are ready for occupancy on the day of arrival at 3:30 pm at the latest. The hotel parking lot is located approx. 150 meters below the hotel entrance, which can be reached via the paved Burgweg. We are happy to transport your luggage with our electric vehicle from the parking lot to the hotel daily from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and 3:00 pm to 7:30 pm. On the day of departure, the room should be vacated by 11:30 am at the latest.

An atmospheric restaurant with old tapestries, fine fabrics and candlelight, plus attentive service and cheerfully chatting guests - let us spoil you.
