Bat tours are offered at the Stellwerk Mensch | Natur | Technik in cooperation with NABU Rhineland-Palatinate.
Bats are strange to us and fascinate us at the same time. They fly with their hands and see with their ears. Their presence in our vicinity usually goes unnoticed, because they only become active when most of us go to sleep.
After an introductory lecture of about 45 minutes, which provides insights into the fascinating lifestyle of bats, we will go on a discovery tour through the park at dusk. Equipped with mobile detectors, the ultrasonic sounds of these night owls become audible to us humans.
The events are free of charge and also suitable for families with children of elementary school age and older.
Due to the limited number of participants (20 people per tour), advance registration is required at Fledermausfuehrung@bingen.de.
