FEK Special trip “Cuisine on the Rhine”
Our special train leaves Cologne Central Railways around 11:00 a.m. and runs along the romantic Middle Rhine route to Mainz and back to Cologne. The traction of our special train is taking over a historic electric locomotive. You will have the opportunity to admire the romantic landscape of the Middle Rhine from both the left bank and the right bank of the Rhine, while enjoying the elegant and cosy atmosphere in the Rhine gold car.

For the help of us we welcome all passengers to the table car with a glass of Rheingold sparkling wine. The route takes us via Linz, Neuwied, Koblenz, Boppard, Oberwe-sel and Mainz-Kaiserbrücke from the Rhine and Rheingau to Koblenz-Ehrenbreitstein.
During the ride, we will serve you the six-course menu designed by Klaus Kremer at your permanently laid table.
In Koblenz-Ehrenbreitstein we take a short break, during which you can “represent your legs” and then drive back to Cologne. The arrival in Cologne will be around 5 p.m.
Our special train is formed from Rheingold carriages of different eras, such as the popular Rhine gold dining car from 1928 and the car of the sixties, including the legendary viewing car.
The price includes:
Journey in a special train in the 1. Class at tables,
Rheingold-Champagne to welcome and the gala menu. Not included are the
table drinks that you please pay directly with our volunteer staff.
A minimum number of 130 people is required for this trip.
