FEK Grand New Year's Eve Party
The transition into the new year becomes a very special experience with the legendary Rheingold train. Enjoy the flair of days gone by at the turn of the year. Our special train departs from Cologne at around 6 p.m. You will travel along the romantic Middle Rhine route to Mainz and back to Cologne.
During the journey, we will serve you a six-course meal designed by Klaus Kremer, former head chef of the Cunard shipping company's luxury liner Queen Mary 2, at your festively decorated table.
Or you can travel in the compartment car with an evening snack and dance the night away in our dance car. Drinks such as beer, wine and soft drinks are included in the price.
At midnight, there will be a stop in Ehrenbreitstein opposite the Deutsches Eck in Koblenz, from where you can watch the fireworks. At the same time, all passengers will receive a glass of sparkling wine at the bars or at their tables. The return to Cologne is scheduled for around 1:00 a.m.
Our special train consists of Rheingold carriages from the 1960s, including the legendary observation carriage. Our special train is powered by a historic electric locomotive.
The price includes:
Travel in 1st class on the special train at tables (including six-course meal and drinks as listed) or in a compartment (including snacks and drinks as listed), midnight champagne, beer, wine and soft drinks. Please pay for spirits directly to our volunteer service staff on the train.
