First Singer-Songwriter Night

Save-the-Date: 3 artists present handmade music and moving stories - Event is a cooperation between the Tourist-Info Oberwesel, the Kulturhaus and “Musicgrounder”

First “Singer-Songwriter Night” in Oberwesel in the Kulturhaus - A new format in cooperation with the Tourist-Info Oberwesel, the Kulturhaus and the artist agency “Musicgrounder” (Marburg).
Even though tickets will not go on sale until August, you should make a note of this date! Because on this evening, the Kulturhaus will become a stage for handmade music and moving stories. Three extraordinary singer & songwriters present their songs - honest, touching and full of passion.

In short personal interviews, they will also provide insights into their musical careers, their sources of inspiration and what drives them. The evening is rounded off with selected wines from the region and stimulating conversation - a musical and sociable treat for the heart and soul.

The artists of the evening:

Daniel Bongart

Bonn-based singer/songwriter Daniel Bongart stands for music that gets under your skin. His songs tell of people, emotions and secrets - with soulful vocals and reduced yet intense instrumental playing. On his current album “Dreaming Tree”, he unfolds an emotional world of sound between folk and rock. Sometimes fragile, sometimes powerful - Bongart takes his audience on a journey full of depth and authenticity.

Chris Rock

With heart and soul, Chris Rock tells touching stories in his German and English-language songs. His style combines folk, rock and classic songwriting - influenced by artists such as Johnny Cash and Oasis. His music is honest, passionate and full of emotion. With his charismatic presence on stage, Chris creates a palpable closeness to the audience and leaves lasting impressions.

Red Apple

The acoustic duo Red Apple - consisting of Sascha Frank (vocals, guitar) and Jakob Huf (guitar, mandolin) - combines roots, Americana, folk and blues to create a unique sound. With original compositions and intensively interpreted classics, they create an evening full of variety. Jakob impresses with his virtuoso string playing, while Sascha's raspy voice lends character to every song. Two men, five guitars and a large portion of soul make the stage resound.

With “Musicgrounder”, a professional artist agency is on board as a cooperation partner that promotes and supports young artists and musicians on their way. Among other things, it was responsible for the call for entries and pre-selection for the “Singer-Songwriter Night”, for which over 50 artists applied.
