At the end of October, the farmers' market presents itself as a cornucopia of seasonal specialities, where red-cheeked apples and bulbous potatoes vie for the attention of visitors. Wine and schnapps, pottery and wooden toys can be found here, as well as rustic regional products such as farmhouse bread and homemade sausages.
