The German Inland Waterways Museum is hosting the popular “Nikolausmarkt Kunst & Design” (St. Nicholas Art & Design Market) for the 12th time.
This year, 28 artists will be presenting their work throughout the museum – from paintings and drawings to handicrafts, sculptures, and design objects.
On both days, there will be a variety of craft and painting activities for children, a button machine, and appearances by St. Nicholas and his angel, who will be handing out chocolate Santa Clauses. In addition, the Snow Fairy will be reading Christmas stories in the HERMANN, among other places. This means that parents can relax and browse while their little ones do crafts, paint, and listen.
The Herz-Jesu parish choir will create a festive atmosphere with atmospheric music on Sunday at 4 p.m. and invite everyone to sing along.
As every year, the “Kultkiosk” will provide refreshments, including Ruhrort currywurst, vegan lentil soup, waffles, mulled wine, and soft drinks.
